5 Things You Should Never Do With Your Phone

Smartphones are one of the most abused personal gadgets of this generation. While we never tend to realize how we end up abusing our most endeared gadget, it can get life-threatening sometimes. As recent as this June, a Malaysian CEO died after his smartphone exploded. Also, we have heard of several incidents of smartphone explosions and electrocutions.

According to statistics, almost half of the population owns a smartphone. In a 2016 survey conducted by the Bank of America, 96% of the millennials aged 18 to 24 years old said that smartphones are very important for them. 93% of them even stated that smartphones are more important than deodorant and toothbrush. The survey also found out that an individual checks his or her smartphone every 6.5 minutes.

But the use of this gadget has still not been understood completely.

In this article, we will be talking about 5 things that you should never do with your smartphones.

Avoid charging the battery of the mobile phone with the case or cover. Always remove it first:

It is recommended that you remove the phone's protective case while charging. It is natural for the battery to become slightly warm, but the case may act as a barrier and slow down heat dissipation. If possible, flip the phone over and place it on a soft cloth to protect the display.

Never sleep with your mobile phone under the pillow:

The study shows that sleeping next to your mobile phones are extremely dangerous due to its harmful radiation. This is the primary cause of Brain Cancer.

Never put the mobile phone inside the chest pocket of a shirt or vest:

To put the phone near to chest or in the pants pocket is harmful because as we know there are several rays which are directly or indirectly harm our body.

Never use duplicate chargers or adapters of other phones to charge the battery:

Do not use fake batteries as well as fake chargers. Fake chargers charge your batteries unexpectedly. Always use a branded company's charger for mobile phones. Try not to give your charger to anyone and charge your phone with no other charger.

Don’t use cheap power banks to charge your mobile:

There is a high risk of your phone getting blasted along with the power bank if you use cheap power banks.

We would recommend you to use Allocacoc's USB C and Powerbank Slim.

USB C: The Power |USBcable| has three different connectors(USB type-C/Lightning/Micro-USB), making it much more unlikely that you do not have the right cable on you, as you can use the same cable for multiple devices. Besides charging the Power |USBcable| also allows data transfer. This enables you to e.g. connect your portable hard drive to your computer, or synchronize your music library between your phone and laptop.

Powerbank Slim: At just 125g and only 8mm thick, the PowerBank Slim|Aluminum| 5000mAh is so slim and light that you can carry it around with ease. Re-charge your PowerBank and phone with just one cable, through a Lightning or Micro-USB port. Find out how much battery is left with a quick glance. Three different colors indicate three different battery levels. Simply shake the PowerBank to check its battery level.
